Catch Crappie in Deep Water

HOW TO DROPSHOT FOR CRAPPIE – CATCHING MY PB!

Fishing Tips

Drop shot pan fishing is a highly effective technique for finding fish in deeper water. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out!

The Setup

For drop shot pan fishing, I used a quarter ounce drop shot weight with a one-inch Gulp® minnow. This combination proved to be very successful in attracting crappie and big bluegills. We targeted areas between six to fifteen feet deep, where we expected to find these fish. Check out the video for more details.

If you haven’t tried drop shot pan fishing yet, I highly recommend giving it a go. It’s a great way to find fish in deeper water and can lead to some exciting catches. So grab your gear, head out to the water, and give drop shot pan fishing a try. You never know what you might reel in!
